Right now I use an encrypted partition on a Flash Drive where I keep my low risk passwords for which I fairly regularly generate new ones. My current perspective is I would rather protect my master password at all costs than certain individual passwords I regularly use/change. I also would not be surprised of internal surveillance either, I expect very little privacy from my employer. We have had previous breaches before from direct adversaries. I meant more along the lines of I assume that the hardware is very likely compromised (logging, etc.) same goes for the network. I also assume the data is cached encrypted and all that good stuff. The latest version of 1Password has solved that limitation as it now has the ability to sync to iPhone/iPod touch all stored login information as a bookmarklet.

However I had mentioned that though 1Password was definitely an easy way to sync your password information to the iPhone, it still did not solve the problem completely as at that time it only made information available on the iPhone but was limited in utility as it didn’t populate the webform with the username and password.
