Luke Cage had Mahershala Ali and Alfre Woodard and wasted them. It has a strong, commanding villain, and most importantly, Daredevil doesn't waste the acting talents and chops of its cast. It doesn't let the soap-opera-ish drama drag down the show and supersede the action. It strikes the right balance of serious drama and comic bookness. But aside from that, it's nice to see that the writers of Daredevil get it in the way the Iron fist, Luke Cage, didn't, and Jessica Jones and The Punisher definitely need to in order to survive. Foggy is a lot more bearable this season, but he still can be irritating at times. This doesn't deserve a perfect 10 like the rabid fanboys will give it as it does have its flaws namely, the same problems plaguing all of the Netflix Marvel and what sunk Luke Cage and Iron Fist (and will probably sink Jessica Jones and The Punisher if it continues on that path) as far as boring and pointless side plots, characters, and drama that only serves to pad the plot like Karen Page and the FBI agent Nadeem.

And yes, we're given another hallway fight this time, and it's one of the most innovative and thrilling fight choreography and cinematography on TV. They also did a rather good job of introducing Bullseye into the universe.

Kingpin is the center of this season as he is the reason this season is as good as it is.
#DAREDEVIL EPISODE 3 SUMMARY FULL#
I am a huge Daredevil fan! I'm surprised by some of the comments on here praising Season 3 :-( … Full Review »ĭaredevil rises to the occasion and shows why it's leading (or rather last surviving) the TV MCU and it's mainly because of its lead actors, Daredevil rises to the occasion and shows why it's leading (or rather last surviving) the TV MCU and it's mainly because of its lead actors, Charlie Cox, who is so likable in his performance, that he brings a lot of effortless sympathy to the character, and especially Vincent D'Onofrio, who makes himself one of the best villains in the Marvel media properties as a whole. The season focused so much on Foggy & Karen with less talking to Daredevil !!! In one of the episodes, Agent Nadeem tells Daredevil " you have lost so much" BIG FLAW as Agent Nadeem does not know what Daredevil has lost ! Very bad direction they were trying to get the audience emotionally inclined to Daredevil's character :-( Bullseye ( Dexter ) scenes are so cheesy specially when he is interacting with Agent Nadeem after he is identified such a joke & overly done. In the latter part of the series, they have shown FISK had arranged Agent Nadeem's sister's health policy to be revoked? Come on its so cheesy & overdone. Bullseye at one point of time is stopped by Karen - FUNNY THING INSTEAD OF GOING AFTER DAREDEVIL he exists the church & comes back again ? Huge plot mistake !!! He should have just gone after Daredevil. There are so many plot holes in the storyline, Terrible direction making it more of a "cheesy season" I laughed when the agent addressed Fisk as " KINGPIN" the direction was sure immature & laughable at that scene! Episode Karen was absolutely **** and totally unnecessary. There are so many plot holes in the storyline, Terrible direction making it more of a Daredevil - Season 3 definitely one of the worst season. So before you launch into the next installment, here's what went down in Season 2.Daredevil - Season 3 definitely one of the worst season. While Daredevil is currently presumed dead, Season 3 will go back to basics a bit with Matt, Foggy, and Karen fighting Kingpin. Frank Castle's Punisher was a violent vigilante who didn't share the same views as Matt did when it comes to dispatching with criminals.

Besides the ancient evil organization, Matt also had the Punisher to contend with. Elektra's presence is what got Matt involved with the Hand. But in Season 2, Matt's relationships with Foggy and Karen were strained by the introduction of a person from his past - Elektra Natchios. Season 1 established Matt's friendships with Foggy Nelson and Karen Page, his Catholic religion, his number one enemy Kingpin, and his heightened senses that make him the superhero that he is.

But you should still go back to Matt Murdock's OG series to understand where he is mentally in Season 3. Sure, Iron Fist Season 1 and The Defenders covered the Hand storyline that was introduced back in 2016's Season 2. 19 and with more than two and half years between Seasons 2 and 3, you might be in desperate need of a Daredevil Season 2 recap. As the original Marvel Netflix series, Daredevil has the most history to remember.
